About the Founder

Todd Temaat – Founder of Servant Publishing

Retired U.S. Air Force officer and digital publisher focused on building AI-informed systems and digital publications designed to serve readers first.

Before entering the publishing and technology space, Todd served as an officer in the United States Air Force. His career involved leadership roles that required disciplined decision-making, structured analysis, and responsibility for complex operations. Those experiences shaped his approach to problem solving and his belief that systems and processes matter more than short-term tactics.

After leaving active duty, Todd began working in digital publishing and online marketing. During the early years of the modern internet economy, he built and operated websites that relied heavily on search engines to reach audiences. While those projects provided valuable experience, they also revealed a growing shift in online publishing toward volume and algorithm-driven engagement rather than usefulness for readers.

Building Servant Publishing

Servant Publishing was created to address those problems. The company focuses on building platforms and workflows designed to support careful research, clear writing, and durable information systems rather than high-volume content production.

Today Todd’s work centers on developing structured publishing processes and AI-assisted research tools that help transform complex topics into practical, understandable information. These systems are designed to support independent publishing and ensure that smaller, disciplined teams can still produce high-quality knowledge resources.

Through Servant Publishing, Todd continues to explore how technology, research, and publishing can work together in service of readers rather than simply competing for attention.
